Graduated on Reproductive Health Care Program- June-2017

YEDP, Reproductive Health Care program this Year 2017 on June has graduated 135 refugees girls, the Adolescents who completed their 3 months learning Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health session which were included with prenatal and postnatal issues and the involvement of male in this activities. the graduation was very wonderful and 85% of refugees girls which were following this program are now well protected from early pregnancies, early marriage and HIV infections and this girls are read to inform other girls in refugee camp in order the information to reach many girls  in the camp and girls to continue with learning to complete their future dream. our program is still going on with this activities to reach many girls refugees in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya the Rift Valley, Northwestern. 

Planting and Restore hope of Refugee women and Young People @ Final Exam -June 2017

YEDP implemented this project for the third round in kakuma Refugee Camp, to plant and restore hope for refugees women and young people for them to become independently in their lives this project is very interested to Refugee in Kakuma Cause many refugee in this camp are living under ilitracy maters that causes many of them sentences poverty, Lack of peace among themselves and lack of proper use of medicine which affect many refugee women and young people, this Years many of the people we trained have reported getting jobs and living independently and this completing this 6 months appreciated a lot then wish this program to continue and reach many refugees but we have a shortage of funds to reach many of the only $5 can assist getting Materials and stationaries to train many Refugees.

Communicative English Class Kakuma Refugee Camp May, 2017

As a part of Education Program YEDP has made a great impact from 2016, All Young and Adult Refugees trained on Communicative English and Literacy 65% of these refugee reported getting opportunities of having jobs and others engaged in translating English in mother tongue to new refugee from their country of origin and they appreciate YEDP for making them hundling their proper control of health care in Kakuma Refugee Camp.

YEDP Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health activity has made a great impact of changing the lives of adolescents and youth and reducing the number of unintended pregnancies among refugees girls for them to manage their lives in learning. Literacy Class Kakuma Refugee Camp, May, 2017

Kakuma Refugee Camp has many Nationalities from different countries  and from the time refugees reached Kenya at kakuma refugee camp education has been a challenge especially in adulthood ages and many more refugees who are in need of acquiring knowledge in English as a second language here in Kenya. YEDP has therefore  taken this Initiative of opening Literacy classes for women  the camp with aim of  empowering Refugee women. Above are is literacy learners taking notes during class time, Kakuma Refugee Camp, Turkana County in the Rift Valley Kenya @ YEDP Kakuma Kenya 2017. Soda Mangaiko is Literacy teacher and YEDP Deputy Director now during class time is trying to assist a student to pronounce well some of the complicated words.
